In order to ensure the quality of the campus environment and improve the environmental hygiene, the hazardous waste, including chemical waste, biomedical waste, radioactive waste, etc., produced in our laboratories are subject to standards of the Environmental Protection Administration’s Waste Disposal Act and the Atomic Energy Council’s Ionizing Radiation Protection Act, implementing the regulations on compatibility classification, waste reduction and temporary storage of chemical wastes, as well as implementing the policy of sterility of biomedical waste and the measures of reducing the amount of radioactive waste, make sure the declaration, and entrust the Grade-A waste cleaning and transportation manufacturer certified by the government to effectively remove and treat the laboratory waste.
